A heavy dose of European styling and super-attractive price combined to make the 4600 SCB an early marketing success for Maxum. Indeed, her appeal to budget-minded buyers is undeniable. At just under 30,000 pounds, the 4600 is a relatively light weight boat for her size. She rides on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate beam and a shallow keel for directional stability. The Maxum's two-stateroom floorplan is arranged with the galley up, a step down from the salon level, with an elevated dinette to starboard. Both head compartments are fitted with separate stall showers, and a good deal of cherry paneling and trim are applied throughout the stylish interior.
